4 Tips for Natural & Healthy Living

Now that we’re well into 2019, we hope you are still going strong with your resolutions and goals for the year. We made our own “Nude” year’s resolutions back in January, and other than spending more time nude, we wanted to focus on healthy living and the many different ways you can adapt your lifestyle to promote mind and body health.

Cooking

There is an old saying, “you are what you eat,” and it’s true that what you put into your body has a huge impact on your overall health. Modern diets are packed full of ingredients which, in large doses, are harmful to the body and can cause inflammation, cholesterol, skin issues, brain fog, as well as increase your chances of developing serious issues such as type-2 diabetes and cancer.

To maintain a healthy lifestyle it is important that we really pay attention to the foods we are eating, and try to limit things likely to trigger reactions, such as gluten, processed meats, sugars, salt, unhealthy fats and preservatives. The best way to eliminate harmful foods from your diet is to follow a natural, organic, plant-based diet, and cook from fresh whenever possible. Of course, this might not be practical 100% of the time, but just thinking about where our food comes from really can open your mind to new possibilities. And guess what, there are some delicious vegan foods out there; you don’t have to live on lettuce and seeds!

Coming soon, we will be hosting some nude cooking classes in London, with a professional chef. It doesn’t matter if you’re a budding Gordon Ramsay or if you can’t even boil an egg – our chef will guide you through some healthy recipes, followed by a tasting masterclass; all in the nude, of course!

Fitness

Nude personal training is now available from Naturist Cleaners, as part of our range of naturist-friendly fitness services. At the moment these services are only available in some areas, but we aim to continually expand our offering and add new activities all the time. As well as personal training, we also have nude yoga and pilates, which can all be booked through the website.

Of course, we all know that exercise is important to burn fat, improve muscle tone and increase stamina and flexibility. But there are many more subtle ways that exercise also has on the body. For example, it can increase your metabolism, causing your digestive system to process waste more quickly and efficiently. Exercise also releases mood-boosting endorphins which improve your mental health, not to mention the confidence boost you get from being in better shape!

Detox

You might think that a detox is something reserved only for A-list celebrities in fancy clinics in LA. However, there are plenty of programmes out there which are accessible to everyone and you don’t have to be a millionaire. Of course, if you want to get nude outdoors there are plenty of clubs and events all over the country, from naturist clubs and naturist swims, to naked bike rides and nude festivals!
